The 3.0 announcement is imminent. Now is our last chance to throw out predictions! Here are some of mine: The "big secret" is that Act 5 will have two different final bosses for Normal and Merciless: Sin and Innocence. We will defeat one in Normal, but then reveal that it was all part of the other's insidious plan. We will then somehow be transported back in time to A1 Merciless, and then play through a bizarro mirrored version where the other brother is the final boss.

The mother shown in The Rise of Innocence is Kalandra. So far the only thing we know of Kalandra is her currency, and that she's important enough to be the PoE logo. Currency in PoE has a very clear progression. It starts mundane (scrolls, whetstones, scraps), then goes thaumaturgical (transmutes, alchs), then royal (regal), then divine (divines, exalts), and then finally there are mirrors. The campaign follows the same progression. We fight mundane enemies on the beach, then more magical enemies in Act 1 and 2, aristocratic enemies in Act 3, an aristocrat seeking godhood in Act 4, and then presumably gods in Act 5. The next step after that would be Kalandra, and killing both of her sons would certainly set up that conflict nicely. Furthermore, it makes sense that a mirror-themed character would give birth to twins.
Those are some of my predictions. What are some of yours?
